· The Authority is committed
to providing high quality licensing, monitoring and inspection
service for pharmaceutical activities, to enforce the relevant
legislation.
· The Authority is
responsible for post licensing safety monitoring through
pharmacovigilance and adverse drug reaction reporting.
· Monitoring of advertising
of medicinal products.
· The Medicines Authority
has a national public health remit with respect to
pharmaceutical activity, information about medicinal products,
and the availability and use of medicinal products on the
local market.
