The European
Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA)
group is currently developing a second
HMA strategy
document for the period 2011-2015, which it aims to have
finalised and published by the end of 2010. As part of the
strategy development process, and in line with good practice,
the HMA
intends to consult with key stakeholder groups on the
strategy’s content.
The aim of the
consultation process is to give the HMA’s stakeholders an
opportunity to feed into the strategy by commenting on
existing content, and also by suggesting new areas for
inclusion if they feel that anything substantial has been
missed.
The
consultation will run for a period of 3 weeks from 9th July
to 30th July 2010.
After the
consultation, the HMA’s Strategy Task Force will consider and
evaluate the response, and revise the draft Strategy in time
for the HMA
meeting in Antwerp on 25/26 October 2010. At the Antwerp
meeting, the HMA
will consider and plan to endorse the Strategy and its
implementation plan. The document should be ready for
publication in November 2010.
